Keeping pace with advancing technology is clearly a top priority for organizations as they continue to invest in and add to their IT talent base. In July alone, companies added 7,000 new IT jobs to the labor market and the industry has seen an increase of over 50,000 jobs in the industry in the past year. As organizations grapple with upcoming XBRL implementation, continue to move to wireless connections and introduce new technologies requiring support, the industry just keeps booming. And, since there’s no end in site for such technological advancement, neither are there any signs for a slowdown in job creation for the sector in the near term.
